Clinique Fresh Pressed Two-Step System with Pure Vitamin C

When these lovely and NEW Clinique Fresh Pressed skincare products landed in my parcel locker, I was excited to try something different. I have learnt a thing or two about how vitamin c can be a useful ingredient in my evening skincare routine. I decided to take this 7-day challenge and to find out my thoughts on this two-step system, just keep on reading.

*Clinique Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser with Pure Vitamin C (28 packet/1 month supply)

This powder cleanser required a little bit of water to activate into a paste. I simply lather between my hands and gently massage into my skin, almost like a face mask, but leaving it on for just a minute, before rinsing well. My skin felt immediately brightened and soft to touch. For the first few days using this as my evening cleanser routine (by the way, it can be used both AM & PM skin routines), I began to noticed how much more soft and smooth my skin had felt. How brighter and radiant my skin had looked and how my large pores had minimised over the course of the 7-day challenge. I had not experienced any redness or irritation and no dry skin in sight. This is fragrance-free and suitable for all skin types.

*Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% (4 tubes/1 month supply)

This daily booster contains 10% vitamin c, which is potent, but when it is exposed to oxygen, it naturally degrades. Once my face had been pat dried, I go ahead and activate this booster by simply removing the foil cap and firmly press the bulb twice to release the vitamin c powder into the emulsion. Shake the tube for roughly 15 seconds for every use. This is like a serum that I mix 2 drops together with my favourite moisturiser (I rotate every couple of days) Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Relief creme/gel. It will work with any other branded moisturiser of your choice. I noticed overnight, my skin had looked refreshed, hydrated, as well as my skin had brightened and continuously felt smooth and looked radiant. This is fragrance-free and is suitable for all skin types.

Overall, I found this 7-day challenge to be a success, as it had brightened my once dull and dry skin. It had turned it into a more fresh and youthful in appearance. I will definitely continue to use this and I challenge anyone who is or had been keen to try this two-step system a go.
