I have been a big Clinique skincare fan for as long as I can remember. Particularly, with the moisture surge line–by far one of the best collection to date. The latest moisturiser has been a long awaited and one that I hope would live up to its other siblings.
“Advanced hydrator with Auto-Replenishing Technology actually helps skin create its own internal water source to continually rehydrate itself. Then locks in all that moisture for an endlessly plump, dewy, healthy-looking glow.” – Clinique.com.au.
*Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator 50ml $60
This new 72-hour auto-replenishing hydrator is a refreshing pastel pink gel-cream that is described as simply providing the skin to have the power to rehydrate itself.
The new auto-replenishing technology along with caffeine is what is helping trigger skin’s own rehydration system. The formula contains hyaluronic acid fragments and activated aloe water that helps to plump skin with retain moisture. A super-holding matrix of humectants and polymers that help to reduce water loss and seal in moisture.
If you thought the moisture surge extended thirst relief was life, your wildest imagination has just come true. 24hour hydration was a thing of the past and the new 72 hour is IT. In just three days of continuous hydration, even when you cleanse skin in between is what all dry and dehydrated skin beauties pray the Gods for. I often resort back to moisture surge during the colder months whenever I experienced the most dry and dehydrated skin.
I have noticed my skin looking so good (leaves a natural and dewy glow) that I can’t stop looking at face in the mirror and god forbid I might turn vain just like Derek Zoolander in Zoolander the movie! Let’s just say, I am smiling from ear to ear when ever I use this moisturiser in my evening skincare regiment. I know that my skin is reaping the benefits of hydration-hydration-hydration!
This gel-cream is available in 15ml, 30ml, 50ml and 75ml and prices range from $20-$85. Purchase from wherever genuine Clinique beauty products are sold.
