A new edition to the Pep-Start family is this Hydrorush Moisturiser with spf 15 (international version is spf 20). I have been using this product for the past few weeks and thought it’s time to share with you my thoughts.
This *Clinique Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturizer SPF 15 AU$42 – claimed to be “a long-lasting, lightweight hydrator that provides UV protection against sun’s ageing rays.” It does its intended use, however, a little confused about the lesser amount of spf compared to international version. The higher the spf in my opinion the better it is, so this product may suit those that spend less time outdoors and don’t necessarily need a high spf count.
This product has a thick and rich texture that some people may dislike, depending on your skin type. This is best suited for beauties with normal, combination, dry and sensitive skins. When my skin suddenly goes into drought mode, I found this to not only hydrate my skin, but had kept it looking refreshed.
The richness in consistency can help to maintain the levels of hydration without clogging pores and give a lovely dewy finish. Less is more as it can feel slightly heavy on the skin, if you have severe oily skin type. For my oily skin beauties, this may not be the product for you as it is rich and thick in formula, but I recommend the pep-start hydroblur moisturiser and wear a separate light weight spf product on top.
Have you tried this moisturizer? Do you like it?
