DRUNK ELEPHANT Rise + Glow Duo C-Firma 8ml
This is a super-potent vitamin C day serum that is packed with a powerful antioxidant complex of 15% l-ascboric acid and ferulic acid, essential nutrients, fruit enzymes and a chronopeptide that transforms into vitamin D. All of these ingredients work in synergy to help skin appear firmer and brighter.
The texture is this light orange in colour but with a runny consistency. This is best to use only in the morning and follow with an spf moisturiser or team it together with the b-hydra gel.
This serum is potent that it has made my skin look much more awake on days that I am sleep deprived. Alone, it worked well to awaken the skin and teamed with the b-hydra gel, creates a punch that will almost banish that tired skin look and bring back replenished skin.
DRUNK ELEPHANT Rise + Glow Duo B-Hydra 8ml
This claims to be a refreshing gel that provides nutrients and delivers long lasting hydration. It is uniquely formulated with pro-vitamin B5 and pineapple ceramide, like a cool drink for thirsty skin. The texture is this clear gel-cream hybrid with a lovely cooling effect when applied to skin.
I found using it separately from the day serum, meant that my skin required more boost in hydration. When my skin hardly experienced dry skin, this worked well on a good day. But on days when I experienced severe dry and dehydrated skin, I either switched my moisturiser or top up with a rich cream or lotion. Apart from helping to diminish dryness, it also helps with uneven texture and the appearance of fine lines. This hydration gel is vegan and does not contain gluten. This product is suitable for all skin types and even sensitive skins.
Overall, I found that using a mixture of the hydration gel and day serum worked best to deliver a good daily dose of vitamins for my skin, leaving a nourished and radiant glow back to my dull winter skin. These products are noncomedogenic and cruelty-free. It is also formulated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates.
