Dusty Girls Natural Mineral Mascara – Night Fall

Dusty Girls Natural Mineral Mascara - Night Fall

I am always on a look out for a mascara that will give natural looking lashes without the obvious that you are wearing mascara. I am sure that I have not used an all natural kind of mascara before either. Sammy from Dusty Girls Makeup kindly sent me this *Dusty Girls Natural Mineral Mascara to try and I was super excited to give it a go.

The packaging, it doesn’t come in the usual cardboard backing with the plastic casing that you see with mascaras found in drugstores, in fact it just comes in this recyclable box, which I think is pretty cool. When you twist open the wand it is reasonably sized and the brush is straight and pointy at the tip. It holds an even amount of product that doesn’t look like it would clump up lashes.

For weeks, this has been my go-to mascara and this is because it creates volume, especially after a few applications of this to my lashes. I haven’t found it to dry or clump and in fact it does the opposite. The night fall actually darkens my lashes, even though my lashes are black, they really make my lashes stand out and more defined. To me, this is like a tint with moisturising benefits that is made from non-irritating formulation that contains no synthetic dyes, mineral oils or parabens.

This is a mascara that truly gives you volume and separates each lash without the clump, wet and dry lashes. A tip I found is that dusting face powder over the lashes can help to keep the mascara in place when you apply multiple layers without it drying up and looking all spidery. This is great for anyone who experiences watery, irritable and sensitive eyes, as most generic mascaras can contain an ingredient called Pine Tar. This mascara contains a natural and non-irritating alternative – Acacia Gum. Anyone wanting to make a switch or looking for an alternative mascara that gives you great volume, then this is the mascara you need to look out for.
