ELLA BACHÉ Botanical Skin Treatment Oil

Winter is one of those seasons in the year were we often experience uncomfortable, irritated and inflamed skin. We are encouraged to switch up our beloved light skincare products to more rich and heavy textures so that it may help to continuously soothe, nourish and hydrate our skin. There have been a few products I have found from Ella Baché recently that have been helpful at targeting such skin issues this season.

“A unique blend of Australian native Kakadu Plum Seed Oil and Berry Seed Complex brightens, plumps and smoothes the skin, whilst also offering powerful antioxidant properties. Hemp Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil and Evening Primrose Oil are rich in therapeutic properties and assist to protect and reinforce the skin’s natural barrier and help to alleviate excessive dryness and to repair damaged skin. Ginger Root Extract soothes irritated skin” – Ella Baché.

This botanical skin treatment oil is a new product from Ella Baché. It contains 100% natural ingredients, including hemp seed oil (contains omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids, as well as vitamin e and minerals such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc.)

As you may know, facial oils and serums are my favourite category in a typical skincare routine. I am known to layer up my serums and oils from lightest to rich textures, which I find works best with what my skin might want at that moment in time. This treatment oil has a lightweight formula, which makes it easier to layer products, and I have not experienced any bad reactions since I have been incorporating into my daily skincare regiment. There is also no scent which is great for those with sensitive skin types. Ideally, this is suitable for all skin types, especially those who experience dehydration, dull, premature and mature skin types.

Since it has a light texture, I found it easily absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves a fresh light matte finish–that natural glow we crave to achieve when we experience dull skin. Other skin issues that can be helped treated by this oil include: brown spots, lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness, unbalanced pH, flaking skin, uneven skin tone, hyper pigmentation, and sun damage.

This product can also be used to enrich a favourite moisturiser, simply by adding 1-2 drops and without the worry of clogging up your pores. I also found this useful to apply on the ends of my hair, on my post pregnancy stretch marks and cellulite. While, it hasn’t made a significant change to my (body) skin texture, it has helped to replenish my skin in other parts where I often forget to moisturise. Overall, I found this treatment oil to have a multitude of uses, which has come in handy and have been well received with my skin and hair this season.
