Empty Products #17

I can’t believe we’re in April already! My drive to finish these products has continued to prove that with persistence and focus, anything is possible. I feel a reward is about to come around the corner and as this is my birthday month, I may have a post or two coming soon to share with you my recent splurges. Continue reading to see what I thought about these beauties.

Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream 22ml AU$14.96 – When I first discovered dry-dehydrated skin around my cheeks and lip area, I was recommended to try this product. I found that it had helped soothe dry and flakey skin within days. This had been my inspiration to really understand my skin type and how I could help continue to keep my skin well hydrated and moisturised. This product is non-greasy, lightweight and helped to restore skin’s suppleness and softness.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water 50g AU$9.95 – Along with many new skincare product discoveries this year, I have been in love with thermal spring water. I have also discovered using this as my post cleansing and pre serum/facial oil stage. I spray directly on the skin and use a rectangular makeup pad to gently press the water into the skin. I have found this to absorb better in the skin, which had help keep the skin nourished. This is perfect to use all year around to help refreshen dry-dehydrated skin types, as well as great to use post skin treatments like microdermabrasion to help soothe and heal irritated skin.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover 50ml AU$14 – This has been a long time favourite for removing face makeup, as well as waterproof makeup without pulling or tugging around delicate skin areas, such as the eyes. It also doesn’t leave any oily residue that can be experienced from using other makeup removal products. This has a non-irritating and non-stinging formula.

Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Serum 5ml AU$4.99 – I recently reviewed this product in detail, you can read the full review here. This mini was what made me fall in love with beauty focusing on science. I had read raving reviews and I wanted to dip my feet in the shallow waters. I must say, since owning a full size now, I have enjoyed using this on days when my skin was screaming for moisture and hydration. A little goes a long way and my skin loved it. I have incorporate this on rotation with other serums on my evening skincare routine.

Bioderma Hydrabio Riche Moisturising Rich Cream 5ml AU$5.37 – This is a perfect moisturising cream to use in the evening, as it is rich, a little goes a long way. The formula, however, felt lightweight and non-greasy, helped calm down dry and flakey skin. I would use this again when my skin ever experiences super dry and flakey skin.
