2016 is the year of cruelty free skincare, for me anyway. This year so many opportunities have come my way and a lot had to do with my journey of identifying my true skin type. And, finding skin food products that would essentially “cure” or “fix” what ever the problem I had been dealing with for the longest time.
Griffin+Row is an Australian brand and owned by two very successful and prominent businesswomen, Marcia Griffin and Yvonne Row, since 2008.
“The griffin+row range has been created for those who want to live positively and well and are not influenced by expensive and often misleading advertising. The range is free from artificial fragrances, artificial colouring, parabens petrochemicals, synthetics and animal products. The products are not tested on animals.” – Griffin+Row.
Skincare had become my best friend, it had saved me from unfortunate drama and chaos in the last several months. Without proper skin food, I would not know where I would be today–possibly crying over irritable, tired and desert skin. The *Griffin+Row Nourish Natural Skin Moisturiser (AU$38 / US$28.90) is creamy, rich and lightweight, a little goes a long way and does not leave the skin feeling sticky or glazed in a greasy mess, but a comfortable matte that is perfect under makeup. A moisturiser that I can add to my list of upcoming favourites that can do you no wrong, especially when your skin may be experiencing major dehydration issues, this is your go-to moisturiser. It will keep the skin feeling fresh, full of life and well hydrated all day.
Nourish is also awesome for beauties like me, in their thirty-somethings, who may be in the zone of developing minor signs of ageing, and would rather not see for a long time. I am into my 3rd week now, and I could already notice my skin had plumped up and feel soft to touch. The formula consists of this centess+complex for increased resistance to skin ageing, as well as other ingredients including: natural botanical extracts – aloe vera leaf juice, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, rosemary extract, natural vitamin E, shea nut butter, rosehip oil, lavender oil, pink grapefruit oil, bergamot oil, sweet orange oil. I am enjoying this moisturiser and often find it being put on rotation with my morning skincare. I try to alternate or use at least twice per week and have noticed its contribution in keeping my skin nourished and hydrated.
All of Griffin+Row skincare products are suitable for All Skin Types, you can find the rest of their skincare line at www.griffinandrow.com.au, and international shipping is also available. For updates, you can find them on social media: Facebook and Instagram.
