I have been a lover of Jo Malone colognes for about 3 years now and I must say that for every scent I have approached, I have adored. From sample sizes right through to their 30ml fragrance bottles. It’s not hard to fall in love with their luxurious scents.
Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne 30ml
This fragrance to me is better than receiving a few stems of red roses on valentine’s day. I have hinted my husband to pick this up for me for the past couple of years instead of gifting me a bouquet of flowers. Although, those days have come and gone and never did he read my hints, I gave him the opportunity to gift it to me recently through some Myer vouchers!
The outer packaging, the elegant cream and black box with their timeless glass spray bottles. I love how beautiful they stand side by side on my vanity table. As you probably noticed, I have a few more colognes in the background. I used them sparingly as they are quite expensive for 30ml size. Whenever I pass by at the Jo Malone counter at the Myer store in Sydney, I cannot resist but spray some of my favourite scents on me.
The memory with this scent is nostalgic and I just love the scent of the freshly cut flowers, but with a hint of earthy richness. That being said, the longevity of this cologne is light, soft and short lived–a bit like a bouquet of red roses. I often wear my fragrances for any occasion and disregard time of day. Notes include: lemon, scarlet velvet rose and honeycomb. Red Roses was launched in 2001 and created by Lucien Piquet and Patricia Bilodeau.
