July Favourites Part 1

June Favourites

This is such a late post and by that I mean this should have been June. I have been wanting to write up one long blog post, but seemed as though I had more time making up excuses and procrastinating. Also, I am experiencing major blogging withdrawals from not having to write a third post for you guys every week. The continuation post will be a bonus this week, so expect that next.

This post will focus more on makeup products that I have been enjoying a lot this month. As you know, I am on a current no buy makeup challenge, so you would not be seeing me share new makeup, rather I would showcase products that I hope I can one day feature in an empties blog post.

H&M Beauty Cream Blush in Cameo Brown – You may have seen me feature this product on a couple of my face of the day posts. This blush gives me a natural hint of colour that works well with a no makeup look style. The formula is also something to love, it has this sort of cream to powder texture that just blends well and does not cake up on the skin.

Clean Perfume in White Woods – This is a recent discovery, but I have been wanting to try the brand Clean since I have learnt of its existence. Naturally, I am drawn to more citrus, floral and fresh scents all year around, but this one just stood out, but according to sephora.com, it describes as a cozy, comforting blanket with hints of crisp bergamot leaves, sparkling mandarin, creamy vanilla orchid, sandalwood, praline musks, and a dash of black pepper.

Too Faced Melted Liquid Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua – The ever so talked about liquid lipstick and I, like everybody else wanted to try it. I had bought a kit called too faced totally obsessed kit and was smitten to find this included. The best part was this shade chihuahua that I have been dying to try. I love it, the colour is perfect to wear every single day.

July Favourites Part 1 a

MUFE Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer – I wear it without any foundation assistance and it just works well on my dry/combination skin type. It does not break me into a t-zone melt down and it does not cake up around dry skin patches. It works well and it does everything I want it to do.

Marc Jacobs Beauty NEW Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick in Role Play – I have featured this product on a few face of the day as well as my favourite nude lipsticks on rotation. I enjoy the formula and colour pigmentation, as it is non-drying and everything I love about owning a Marc Jacobs lipstick – luxury.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara in Black – I did not think I would enjoy using this mascara, but it curls, lifts and separates my lashes without it clumping or drying out.

Rimmel London Brow This Way in Medium Brown – I keep going back to it, as I like the level of pigmentation and how much product goes on my brows, more than Maybelline’s version. I find that it holds my brows in place and does not give me those crusty looking brows, because who has time for that? Not me!
