I am not going to move away from drugstore eyeshadow palettes just yet, as some of them have some outstanding quality in my eyes. Even when I am out there exploring new brands and products, I can never resist duped eyeshadow palettes, especially this gorgeous L’Oreal Colour Riche LA Palette Nude 2 in rose. This and the Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow palette, are apparently similar dupes for the famous Urban Decay Naked Palette 3.
Firstly, I found the overall packaging to be different from those sold overseas. This palette comes in a classic plastic black case with name inscribed in gold ink, it is a nice slim compact with inbuilt large mirror, a dual-ended applicator with a sponge tip and brush, and 10 various rose inspired eyeshadows. The International version has a window, which you are able to see the colours, similarly found on Maybelline’s The NUDES eyeshadow palettes. You can tell how different it is marketed here in Australia. We all know by now how makeup is marked up (RRP AUD$29.95) and marketed at high-street level.
Secondly, I noticed some differences in the colours in the palette or maybe my eyes are playing with me, but the one I have contains variations that can be seen similar from the Urban Decay Naked Palette 3. The international version, to me looks a little bit different, what do you think?
Lastly, the formula is really nice, buttery with minimal fall outs and does not sit on the crease of my eye lids. Colour pay off is not too bad either and offers a combination of matte and satin finishes. This is great for beginners or anyone who is after a close dupe to the Urban Decay Naked Palette 3.
Have you tried this eyeshadow palette?
