Facial toners have been a solid part of my daily skincare routine for the past few years now and it’s a step I refuse to skip on. I have used a variety of toners from drugstore, high street to high end range. Continue to read how this product from Mario Badescu lives up to my expectations.
Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner 236ml $21
The witch hazel and rosewater toner is best described as a clarifying and hydrating facial toner that promotes a fresh-faced glow post cleanse. It is a natural astringent properties that ensures surface impurities removes but without stripping the skin. The toner contains black rose, rosewater and rose oil (nourish and boost antioxidant protection), witch hazel (cleanse and tone skin), and aloe vera (soothe and hydrate skin).
This is step 2 in my daily skincare routine, where I use a round cotton makeup pad to swipe all over my skin excluding my eye area. The bottle has a unique open and closure, which I had never seen before but it’s a cool design. There has a beautiful but subtle rose scent that fades after use. The gentle toner reveals a clean, fresh, soft, smooth and moisturised skin. This product is suitable for all skin types. This bottle size has lasted a little over two months. I rotate this with another toner for a day or night time use. I highly enjoyed using this and will definitely look into repurchasing in the near future. Currently have a few other facial toners to use up before going back to Mecca to pick another bottle.
The Mario Badescu witch hazel & rosewater toner and the rest of his skincare collection can be found in store and online at Mecca Cosmetica and Mecca Maxima in Australia, Sephora US and online via: mariobadescu.com / mecca.com.au.
