Where ever you live in the world experiencing transitional climates, one thing we can all agree to is trying to keep our skin hydrated, nourished and supple. It matters that you drink lots of water and eat healthy foods, on the inside you focus to maintain a healthy lifestyle. On the outer, we sometimes forget to keep our skin looking its absolute best.
There are many mist opportunities (pun intended) that can help to prevent our skin from looking dull, dry and irritated. That is why today, I will share with you some of the best facial mists to use all the time, even where makeup is concerned.
Diptyque Infused Facial Water for the Face 50ml AU$32 – I find this to have a very potent scent of Damask rose hydrosol and if you do not mind rose scents, this will become one of your favourites. There are a few alternatives on how to apply to skin. You can choose to spray directly to your face, but do so at a distance as it would feel like you splashed water to your face. A dab on a cotton pad is easier to disperse on the skin, unless you feel this may waste the product. Also, spray onto the palm of your hand and pat to clean skin. It is rich with essential nutrients and vitamins, as the infused water balances and tones the skin, as well as restores the skin’s natural radiance.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater 110ml US$7/AU$10 – I find this to be a step down, a much milder scent that is formulated with fragrant Herbal Extracts and Rosewater. I prefer to spray directly to my skin as I find the mist is thinner compared with Diptyque Infused Facial Water. This is great to add to your skincare routine after applying your moisturisers for that added boost of hydration and also very effective at setting makeup without any disruptions. It has become a favourite, as it just gives my skin that pick-me-up feeling and I know I can rely on it at any time.
*Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray 125ml US$24.50/AU$45 – My OG of facial sprays from a couple of years ago. I felt inspired to explore and try others, but I must say, that even when I have fallen in love with other facial sprays, this is still my favourite one ever. There is something so soothing, so cooling as it hits my thirsty-dehydrated skin and in the summer time, I know who I will turn to. A holy grail skin-saver and one I can assure you will enjoy too.
