My Sunday Riley Skincare Collection

My skincare journey is just beginning. I am always on the look out for new skincare products that will help to keep my skin look healthy and full of life again. As requested from a few of you, I will share my small Sunday Riley skincare collection. FYI, I am no expert in this field, nor am I a beauty therapist. I am only sharing with you my own personal experiences and what has so far been working for my skin.

My current skin type is combination-dry and occasionally experience sensitivity. I became fascinated with Sunday Riley when she used to have a makeup range. I still own one of her lipstick, which I rarely use nowadays. I think she has begun to phase out most of her makeup and has now focused on creating and developing modern skincare.

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil 15ml AU$77 – Luna is a concentrated night oil that is formulated with a trans-retinol ester that helps to correct the visible signs of ageing, damage caused by sun and everyday exposure to pollutants. The blue tansy is a powerfully skin-soothing, anti-inflammatory extract that reduces redness and helps to calm signs of skin stress that can be seen in association with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea and acne. Although the colour of the oil is blue, this disappears as you gently press into your skin with the heat of your hands.

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment 15ml AU$77 – Good Genes is a multi-purpose treatment that smooths, refines, clarifies and brightens, as it improves skin’s thickness and elasticity. Lactic Acid helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, Liquorice to combat uneven skin tone, Lemongrass to improve circulation and protect from environmental aggressors. If using in conjunction with Luna, use Good Genes treatment at least 5 minutes after applying oil or under your chosen Sunday Riley or other branded moisturiser.

Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream 50ml AU$97 – Tidal is designed to deliver an intense ‘water drench‘, as it is formulated with hyaluronic acid, which attracts and retains up to 1000x its own weight in water. Papaya enzymes gently resurfaces as it eliminates dead skin and Alpha-Arbutin helps to brighten hyperpigmentation spots. This cream is perfect for dry to dehydrated skin types, as the featherweight formula is instantly absorbed into the skin as it maintains moisture levels without clogging pores.

Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner 130ml AU$80 – Martian is a refreshing water-gel toner that targets dehydrated, acne-prone complexions, as it helps to alleviate stress and soothes redness to help calm and clarify skin. Bentonite Clay works to lift away excess sebum and tighten pores, Marshmallow and Green Tea also helps to soothe redness and irritation, while Manuka, Black Cumin and Magnolia Bark extracts have anti-bacterial properties to help keep blemishes at bay. After cleansing, apply as needed to dry skin using fingers or a cotton pad. Massage Martian gently and watch as the formula transforms from a treatment gel to a water toner. Also, great to use as a prep step before applying foundation.
