Every winter, I find myself changing up my skincare products, especially now that the climate has become more drier compared to the year before. I do still use my usual favourites, but these are also products I have been gravitating towards in recent times. Continue reading to learn more about each product.
*Rosehip Plus Organic Daily Cream Cleanser 150ml
I’m not usually one to use cream cleansers, but this one seems to clean and soothe my dry skin without leaving it tight or irritable. It contains ingredients such as jojoba and sea buckthorn essential oils that help to keep skin’s moisture balance and comfort. This can also be used to remove makeup, but I prefer to use this cleanser once I have removed my makeup.
*Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Solution Micellaire 250ml
I’ve been a fan of this brand for as long as I can remember and this line in the solution micellaire range is my favourite. All of the other varieties work with dehydrated and sensitive skin types too, however, I find this to be that much more gentle for my skin. I used this after cleansing as it helps to remove any left over makeup. I typically use this as a toner just before I continue on with my skincare routine. Also, for the lazy girls, you can use this as a gentle makeup remover without having to use water.
Caudalie Grape Water 75ml
This is a fairly new addition to my skincare regiment, but I found that it just works so well with my dry skin. The grape water soothes and moisturisers skin, a step I used post toner and pre-facial serum/facial oil. The mist is fine as it disperses evenly across the face and I love the scent of grapes too. I do use cotton pads to dampen and pat to my face and neck, as I found this cools and absorbs into the skin quickly.
Hylamide Low-Molecular HA 30ml
I’ve talked about this product in a review post, but basically it’s become one of those lifesaver face serums for dehydrated skin types. I have used this product religiously that I’m due for a repurchase. It has a thick transparent consistency that absorbs into skin quickly without leaving a shiny film on the surface of the skin. I found that it works well pre-foundation application, as it can have a tacky feeling if you use a lot of it, but can help keep your makeup on longer.
Avene Hydrance Optimale Aqua Gel-Creme 50g
This is a very recent discovery, however, I fell madly in love from the first use. My skin just looked vibrant and supple the next day and it kind of reminds me of Clinique’s moisture surge extended thirst relief gel-cream. This product shares similar consistency and work in the same way. I know my skin will love this, as it continues to hydrate and nourish my thirsty and dull skin.
