REAL TECHNIQUES: Everyday Essentials, Rebel Edge & Sugar Crush Collections

Real Techniques by beauty bloggers Sam & Nic Chapman have released new and unique brush collections for the new year. Adding to their popularity of existing makeup brushes, sponges and accessories, they have included rebel edge, everyday essentials and sugar crush. The new range consists of newly designed brush handles and brand packaging that is simple, clean, aesthetically pleasing without jeopardising the quality or its performance.

Everyday Essentials Set $69*

The everyday essentials set contains some of the best selling from the real techniques base collection, as well as my favourite base makeup brushes that I often gravitate towards when applying makeup on my face.

‒ 400 Blush: blend powder blush for an evenly smooth and natural look,
‒ Miracle Complexion Sponge: flexible foam to blend liquid and cream foundations,
‒ 300 Deluxe Crease: layer and blend cream and powder eyeshadow ms evenly on the eye crease,
‒ 402 Setting: lightly dust highlighting or setting powders for a natural radiant look,
‒ 200 Expert Face: buff liquid or cream foundations for a glowing and flawless finish.

This set was designed to cover your start to finish makeup application. Ideal for face, cheeks and eyes. These are perfect travel companions as it is essentially everything you need to bring with you. I have the original set version in orange and I truly love them.

Sugar Crush Miracle Complexion Sponge $18.99*

You may have used this sponge but in the original shade orange. I personally have never enjoyed applying makeup using a sponge, I’m more of a makeup brush girl. But for beauties who are interested in collecting sponges from the brand, the new range: sugar crush complexion sponges are extra sparkle and available in 3 colours: pink, peach and berry. These complexion sponges can be used damp for a dewy glow or dry for a full coverage. Use with liquid, powder or cream foundations, bb creams or creams that can help makeup application appear flawless. You can expect to get the same performance from these newbies in the same way you have experienced with the original sponge.

Rebel Edge Trio Set $45*

The rebel edge trio set is what I’m most excited to try. The brush bristles are soft and remind me just how much I already enjoy and love using Real Techniques makeup brushes. The set contains uniquely designed brushes for control, blend and definition.

‒ Broad brush: blend powder foundation or bronzer,
‒ Fine brush: line eyes or sweep powder eyeshadows,
‒ Medium brush: dust powder blush or highlighter.

The Real Techniques makeup brushes are so soft and gentle on the skin without it feeling abrasive. It has little to no fall outs and these brushes are not tested on animals and are cruelty free. The sets are available at Priceline stores, online and via: realtechniques.com.au/ nationally.
