Milk Whitening Essence 30ml $40*
The concentrated whitening essence is best described as a milky serum that helps to brighten, smooth, firm and lighten skin complexion to give a gorgeous glow.
I incorporate this essence after cleansing and toning my skin. I use this as my base for layering serums and moisturiser to help retain moisture back into my skin. I have found, like most essences, help to absorb future products quickly, making my skin absorb nutrients it needs to look and feel happy again.
The essence has a non-sticky residue and dries quickly. It is fragrance free and has a creamy serum texture. I used twice a day for 2 months and I haven’t noticed my skin lighten, however, I have noticed my skin appear hydrated, less flakey, supple, smooth, and a subtle glowing complexion. I have finished this product and enjoyed using it for my combination-dry and sensitive skin type.
Milk Whitening Eye Cream 20g $33*
The whitening eye cream is described as a lightweight and refreshing cream that rebuilds skin density to firm and lift the delicate skin around the eyes.
The eye cream has a translucent milky colour that feels light and when gently patted around the eye area, it felt like you don’t have any eye cream on the skin. It absorbs fast and leaves the delicate skin moisturised and the faint fine lines that are creeping through the skin appeared to be minimised. I haven’t seen any significant changes in the way my skin should appear from using this product. I haven’t noticed any firmness or lift after 2 months of using this product. I do think it gives a light refreshing feel for dry skin under the eyes. It’s soothing and moisturising but nothing more to mention.
I’m still using this product to simply use as much and try to finish it, and I have found other eye creams that have worked better for me. Overall, I found these products to be good, but not as impressive as other products I have tried from HOLA in the past.
