*Pure Colour Lip Liner Brown $24.95
This lip liner has a soft and creamy consistency that can be worn as a base lip liner and as a lipstick. It contains ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba seed oil and vitamin e. This lip liner feels comfortable and nourishing. The shade brown appeared more of a basic beige that is great to wear everyday and is appropriate for corporate attire.
*Organic Healthy Glow Fluid Foundation with Rose & Grapefruit in Shell 30ml $49.95
My initial thoughts, the consistency of this healthy glow fluid foundation in shell is quite runny. It may have been how this product was stored, but even after vigorous shaking of the bottle, sadly, the foundation had split and therefore making this review an unfortunate one.
Trying to salvage this foundation, I attempted to use a buffing makeup brush to blend into my skin, but instead, this foundation made my pores the centre of attention and appeared patchy as well. This foundation left a light to medium coverage and shell (pink undertone) is a much lighter shade for my skin and there wasn’t any way I could restore it back to its proper consistency.
*Organic Healthy Glow Fluid Foundation with Rose & Grapefruit in Almond 30ml $49.95
On a more positive outlook, I found this healthy glow fluid foundation in almond a little closer to my facial skin tone, although still a little dark, I could probably wear it in winter to give me a bit of colour. I found the consistency of this foundation to be creamy but lightweight. It contains ingredients of organic rosa damascena (Rose) and citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract that is said to create a soothing, moisturising and lightly fragrant fluid foundation.
This one was easily blendable without drawing attention to my pores, which actually helped to minimise its appearance making this wear much more enjoyable. I also found that with dry skin patches on my chin and cheeks, this did well to prevent it from flaking. Overall, this foundation gave a nice, comfortable, light and natural look without going overboard. This product is suitable for all skin types including those with sensitive skins.
If you made it this far, thank you so much for reading this post. A quick 30 second Q & A with Sylvie about any upcoming products we can expect to see from SCOUT Cosmetics.
Will we be seeing any makeup palettes from the brand soon?
At this stage we have no immediate plans to release Scout Cosmetics makeup palettes, but we always listen to our customers and enjoy developing unique concepts that heighten their Scout brand experience, so watch this space.
Will there be any plans to extend SCOUT Cosmetics skincare line? i.e.: maybe include face sheet / mud masks or a face mist spray?
We have a lot of exciting superfood skincare innovations in the works and definitely plan on extending the range in the near future as the current offerings have been received so well to date. Growth in face and body products are planned in 2018.
Have you tried these Scout Cosmetics fluid foundations?
