It was instant love at first sight. Dusty Girls Makeup is the sister company of MooGoo Skincare. I have been a huge fan since 2015 when I was first introduced to both of these brands. I am one to never shy away from trying new products especially when I know I can incorporate them into my beauty regiment. These products were gifted from attending a MooGoo Bloggers Luncheon back in October 2016.
Let’s take a moment and enjoy the packaging of these beauties. They are colourful and fresh. That is what I love about this brand, you get exactly what you’re given and there is no fluffing about it. Every little ingredient that were used to produce these babies are all listed on their website. You often still don’t see everything with other brands but this is one of the good girls.
Last year, I was on a look out to try mineral foundation that helped to absorbed oily t-zone, minimise the appearance of redness and overall gave a good natural coverage. I hadn’t tried anything before this *Natural Mineral Foundation Medium Minerals with Golden Light SPF 15, but in short, it’s been regularly featured on my makeup of the days since I started using it.
To apply this foundation, I team with the ever so lovely, dense and soft against my skin, *Kabuki Brush. It is easy to manoeuvre and swirl the brush from the foundation lid to the face. I found that it would give an even light to full coverage just by using a light hand or layering more on the skin. I found that it hides some minor blemishes and redness, as well as it doesn’t cake up or let dry skin patches become more obvious on the skin.
I have written a full review on the *Natural Mineral Mascara Night Fall. Basically, it helped to darken my lashes without the need to apply an eyeliner. It also gave more definition, added some volume when multiple coats were applied, but overall, my lashes had this wonderful natural everyday makeup look.
I’m not a huge fan of lip gloss in general, as I’ve never seemed to come across one that wasn’t sticky or tacky. This however, changed that for me. This *Natural Mineral Shimmering Lip Gloss Pacific Ocean Shimmer is not tacky, sticky or even filled with ridiculous amounts of shimmer/glitter bits. You can wear this alone, which gives a lovely dewy finish with a subtle shimmer or team it with your favourite lipstick to add a wow factor. It contains moisturising ingredients such as shea butter and watermelon seed oil to keep lips hydrated and smooth.
