In my last blog post, I reviewed a few new products from the EcoTools the new modern eco collection. What I didn’t show you was the makeup look I did on my face that day testing out the products and putting it to good use. I fell in love with the makeup look so I decided to recreate it this weekend.
There were a few new-to-me products that I wanted to try along with some other fave products. I think this makeup look–looks pretty for everyday, minus the fact that my brows do not look like twins, cousins or related for that matter.
You’ll notice I divided half of my face using a new primer I’ve been sampling from Clinique and the other half without a primer. I wanted to see if the foundation that I recently picked up for a colour matched, would hold up better with or without a primer.
Take a look at my face below, the left side appears normal (without primer) compared to the right side (with primer) to be slightly lighter. Not sure if using a primer made that slight shade difference, but after several hours of wearing a full face of makeup, I did notice my face on both sides oxidised due to the sebum formation on my skin. The primer did help to keep the makeup on a little longer, but the foundation started to sink into the creases and pores around my cheeks and after 5 hours of wear, it was time to remove the makeup.
