As many of you know, I buy most of my skincare and makeup products online. I enjoy browsing and researching for products before I go buy them. I have narrowed down my favourite online retailers that I frequently shop. I rely on them when it comes to getting the best deals or picking up limited edition products where I may not be able to buy in store or have a store nearby.
Mecca is brick-n-motar and an online Australian retailer that I would like to refer as the other Sephora online. They are very similar to each other, and just like Sephora, Mecca stocks their own line of beauty products and have exclusivity brands only available at either Mecca Cosmetica, Mecca Maxima and Mecca online. When you spend AU$75+ you receive free shipping and 3 free samples, as well as join Mecca Beauty Loop.
We all know Sephora and just like Mecca, they are again very similar, with selective brands available. Sephora AU online has limited brands compared to their instore counterparts. I hope in the future, they will be able to stock more brands online. I also enjoy the Beauty Pass rewards when you sign up to join Sephora. When you spend AU$50+ you receive free shipping and 1 free sample.
Bath & Unwind is a UK based online beauty store that sells top notch beauty brands around the world. I find they offer some competitive and great deals, in particular with some skincare brands. I like to browse for skincare products here as they seem to ship to Australia when other websites do not. They also offer free shipping to Australia and a Reward Points system that you can use for future purchases.
Net-A-Porter is a UK based online retailer that not only houses beauty, but fashion and accessories. I used to shop here often for shoes a long time ago. They stock more premium brands across the board and I especially use this website for beauty products that are not usually available in Australian beauty stores. I also find it helpful to compare prices and shipping to Australia starts at a standard AU$10, but if you spend AU$300+ you ultimately receive free express shipping.
Urban Outfitters is US based with brick-n-motar stores and online outlets seen in Canada and across Europe. I normally only browse through Urban Outfitters for unique clothes and shoes, but recently, I have found that I can buy some limited edition skincare and makeup that may have already been sold out elsewhere. They offer free shipping for Australians who spend AU$50+ and have just recently introduced a UO Rewards.
Selfridges is a UK based online with a brick-n-motar store. I only recently began to shop here for more premium beauty brands and products that are hard to get elsewhere. The prices on this are reasonably cheaper than other websites, but the postage is more expensive at AU$45. I would look out for free postage closer to Christmas, as I do find this happens around the holidays.
